How would you describe your approach to wedding photography?

We believe your wedding day is all about YOU and will do everything on our part to keep it that way. When all is said and done, we will deliver to you beautiful, timeless and fun wedding photos that uniquely capture your big day. We have a unique shooting style and while these aren’t your parents’ wedding photos, we will shoot a mixture of both artistic and more traditional photos.

Where are you located and do travel expenses apply?

We live most of the year in the Queen Anne area of Seattle, WA. We love traveling and are available for destination weddings, while most of our shoots take place in the Washington, Idaho and Montana areas. Travels expenses may apply- feel free to ask for specifics.

Do you post the proofs online, or will I receive negatives?

We both post your proofs on our on-line proofing site that anyone you wish can access to view and order prints, as well send you a disc with all your images for you to distribute and print as you wish.

Who will be photographing my wedding?

We will! Some studios do not know who will be shooting a wedding until the very day of the event, but you can rest assured that we will be the photographers on-site the day of your wedding. We deliberately accept a limited number of weddings each year in order to cover each wedding ourselves. In the event one of us is deathly ill, we do have back-up shooters if needed.

When will my proofs and prints be available?

Your proofs will be on-line and in-hand within 3-5 weeks after your wedding. Proofs remain on-line for 9 months after the date of your event or longer if specially requested.

How many pictures will you take?

At the average 8-hour wedding we will take between 2500-3000 photographs. We then will carefully hand-select each photo and narrow it down to a select 400-600 images you will receive, all hand-edited.

Can I see a sample contract?

Absolutely.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. We are totally insured.

What type of cameras do you use, and will you have any backups in case something breaks or doesn’t work?

We shoot with top of the line Nikon cameras and lenses, as well as various film cameras. We have back-up cameras in the event one breaks or stops working.

How many years have you been photographing weddings?

After individually shooting weddings, musicians and travel photography for many years, we decided that we love weddings and launched into full-time wedding photography. This year will mark our 4th wedding season.
